Realizado en una de las locaciones más emblemáticas de la Patagonia Chilena,- Torres del Payne-. DUELO es un primer encuentro de los dos colectivos en el desafío de la creación en video danza. Es un ejercicio que relaciona el fraseo de la coreografía de che-kalul con fragmentos de diversos poemas de Gabriela mistral. “Duelo” es un enfrentamiento primero con el entorno natural, luego con la opción de ser artista y finalmente con las diversas disciplinas que se entrecruzan al momento de producir una obra de arte contemporánea.

Duelo

The word that gives title to this work comes from Chilean poet Gabriela Mistral’s poem “Desolation”. “Duelo” is performed in one of the most distinctive locations in Chilean Patagonia, Torres del Payne. Duelo is the first encounter between these two artist collectives in the challenge of videodance. This is an exercise in which the phrasing of a choreography of “Che Kalul”, which takes fragments from poems by Gabriela Mistral. “Duelo” is a clash, firstly, with the natural environment, then, with the option of being an artist and finally with the different disciplines that are combined at the moment of producing a contemporary art piece.
